The Work In Progress Show gave us the opportunity to open to the public our project Corallo, result of the collaboration with CERN. The challenge was to find a straightforward language to tell a story, convey the issue of Microplastic and at the same time describing something intangibile, like a service, in the most compelling way.

What immediately catches the eye of the crowd is a gorgeous dish containing the today's special described on the menu: synthetic fibers, tyre and city dust; it's a provocation designed to inform people that who eats seafood ingests up to 11,000 particles of plastic every year. At the same time, an interactive map and a video explain the current journey of micriplastics and how it would change introducing the new service Corallo. Eventually, a t-shirt showing a tag with the Corallo logo outlines the garment is made by recycled microplastics.
