"The Authentic Substance of the Inauthentic Experience" provides a panoramic of historical, philosophical and sociological background realted to the issue of authenticity supported by its implication on today's world hit by post truth news and filter bubbles as well as an analysis of problems associated to its legitimacy in art and its notion in matter of politics and philosophy.
The essay aims to explore the complex nature and value of authenticity creating a tool to discern its manifestation in an experience correlating the involvement, therefore the degree to which a user considers himself involved with the achievement of the authenticity, with the predictability, the intentionality, of an event.
